macro failure by Windows Scheduler

HI all,

I read across most of threads about macro which are used for excel reporting inside Qlikview.

Reference Manual tells us that Qlikvew Server cannot trigger macro which is set on PostReload .

So I tried to use create a batch file and to run qvw standalone.

Luckily it can be run by manually click the batch file and the batch file can execute qlikview reload and then macro .

but while I use the windows scheduler to trigger the batch file. it seems failure. as qlikvew cannot reload and trigger the macro

I wonder why

Hi Vikas,

Thank you!  the administrator role should be added.

However, Another question. If I choose Hidden the tasks. the scheduler seems failure too.

It seems qlikview and macro have to popup to execute the job

vikasmahajan

sorry I never use Hidden the tasks but scheduler and jobs is working perfect in my organisation.
