maps on scatter chart not pointing correctly

Hi

I have tried a simple scatter chart by mapping the india image on the background. I can find the X and Y coordinates of the state. In the Inline wizard i mapped the state and the corresponding X and Y coordinates and also the revenue. But the its not pointing the correct state. If i change the Latitude and longitude and then reload it again pointing the same place. How can i fix the point to exact state?

Thanks

Raghu.

I suggest you pick a city with long/lat under each state and plot them in your graph.

Hi Eraaj,

What i did was i move the cursor to particular state and find the latitude and longitude (X and Y co-ordinates) then i create a inline wizard giving the Lat/Lon for the state. Reload the Qlik document, but it wont point to the correct state. I don't know why its pointing to different place.

Could you check the attached document and tell me what wrong with the Qlik document?

Hi Raghu,

I believe that was not the problem, Your Latitude and Longitude was not properly set .

In your application the Latitude and Longitude for Karnataka is namely 0.23 and 4.8 but you can see in sathish application that was set correctly like 0.085 and 1.25

ok you are saying problem is not due to static min and max in the AXIS tab.

Without setting the Static Min and Max under AXIS tab is it possible to point to correct state? If yes how to do that. Can you change my qlik document and send it to me.

What i did was, i find the correct Latitude and Longitude for Karnataka. Similarly for other states also. i have created a inline wizard pointing Lat/Long correctly for states. Before reloading the Qlik document it was 0.23 and 4.8 for Karnataka but after reloaded the document i checked its Lat/Long is 0.085 and 1.25. I don't know how the values in the graph/map showing different values now . Again i changed in the inline wizard again reloaded that time it is showing different values for Karnataka.

-Thanks,

Raghu.

Hi Ragu

That's the purpose i set Min and Max value.

Sri if we r not set min and max valve then every time it automatically change the lan/lon value. Because every reload it automatic value. Once I set Max and Min value only it shows correct.
