marquee effect in QVW

Is it possible to get a scrolling marquee type effect on a QlikView Report or a ticker type of something moving object highlighting recent news....

You could do something with the now() function but better, would be if you have a .gif of what you want and then put that as the backgroupnd of a text object, ive attached an example.
