moving qlikview documents in subfolder of root directory

hello all,

          I need to move Qlikview documents to subfolder in root directory,

Though i moved all documents to the subfolder,qlikview documents are still  there in root directory ,,How can i do it ??

Hi Rohit,

I suggest the following.

1) First of all before moving application make sure you have removed all the tasks.

2) If at all there are any document cals allocated, try to remove that first.

3) Stop app QlikView services and rearrange folder structure.

4) start all QlikView services.

It must solve your problem.

Hi earlier i moved documents in subfolder without removing CAL's ,for root directory documents CAL count was coming Zero,we have around 30 application do we need to remove all tasks from publisher and remove CAL's from all 30 application?? cant we move it into subfolder retaining CAL's and Publisher Task Structure ??

No you can't do like that.

You have to move tasks and licences, Otherwise you will have issue like duplicate copy Licence lost e.t.c
