passing selection whether month or quarter is selected, calculations in pivot table change
Hi Gurus,
I have months and quarter in the list box for selection. In the pivot table, when i select month for example, March, it shows proper values for month and quarter actuals but when i select Q1, in place of month actual, I get quarter actual and in place of quarter actual i get the month*3 , i.e jan +feb+march.
What I am looking at is
1)When Q1 is selected, I will write an if condition to pass whether Q1 is selected, then month actual = quarter actual and quarter actual=quarter actual
2) When Q1 is selected, change the column header from month actual to quarter actual .
in the dashboard attached, when March is selected, it is 3611 complaints and when Q1 is selected it is 10167 complaints but the next column quarter actual should also be 10167 based on what is selected Q1 or any month.
2. If you don't want to sum values because they already are totalled then don't use the sum function. Use avg or max for the quarter actual totals: max(TAB4_Q_Act)
