I have a QlikView Server (v12) which was configured to have a root folder of E:\Documents, then a series of mounted folders like this:
Name=ED, Path=E:\Documents\ED
Name=IT, Path=E:\Documents\IT
Name=CEO, Path=E:\Documents\CEO
Every mounted folder is a subdirectory of the root folder.
This seems redundant and unnecessary. Am I missing something?
Assuming all my distribution tasks distribute to folders instead of to a server mount point, what would happen if I deleted all these mount points? Why would I choose to distribute to a mount point vs a folder?
