How to use .qar files in Qlikview Desktop.

Please any one explain ...

Hi,

A qar file is actually a zip file that contains all files to make an extension to work.

So first yu need to open QlikView Desktop, then open the QVW where the extension will be, then double click on the qar file.

Generally.qar file is one with two or more files  .Generally  extensions of qlikview are provided through qar file .

Hi.

.qar file is just a zip file, if you have Excel / QVD / CSV or any data files then unzip the qar file and read those files in qlikview by using Load statement.

Hi,

.qar files are used for extensions. To use them, just double click in the .qar file. To see the results to should use the web viewer mode or through one url.

Additionally there are two types of extensions.

     - Extensions objects (for new graphics and so on).

     - Extensions for the document. Document propiertis - Extensions - Add the installed extension to activate extension and this extension will be use for this particular qv document. (for example NoGree.qar extension which provides you with a different colour code for the selections)

How to install .QAR files..  

If i am click .qar files it shows error message
