"Variance" Col1-Col2 is showing 0's even though there should be a number

Hi there,

I have a straight table with a primary key dimension and 3 expressions: field_a, field_b, and field_c. field c is equal to [field_a]-[field_b] and both column names are highlighted in blue. There are numbers in both field_a and field_b that are not matching, however field_c has a total of zero as well as zeros down the column.

I have had this problem before- this variance column tends to be finicky but it mirrors my others so I don't know why it is not working. I toyed with the sum by row/expression but that is not fixing it. Has anyone been able to solve this problem before?

Thanks!

Are field_a and field_b expression labels or field names?

How large is the numeric difference you expect to see?

Do you have any number formatting set that may remove decimal places from being displayed?

And can you post a screenshot of how the table looks like or even better some sample data or a small sample QVW?
