Hi all,
I'm using QV Server 11 with Publisher.
I'm trying to build a model to manage the Named CALs at the server by the Power Tools (qv-user-manager).
I've installed .Net 3.5, and also the PowerTools and EDX CommandLine.
The model runs perfectly both "AddUser" (.bat file to add user according to qv variable value stored into txt file) and "Refresh" (.bat file to import the current list of Named CALs that creates a csv file with list of CALs).
Trying to use the same functionality to remove user (the same way I've used in the "AddUser") failed...
The functionality: qv-user-manager.exe --remove cal < users.txt ignored the txt file and removed what looked at first as an arbitrary list of Named CALs but checking who was removed revealed that those users were inactive for 24 hours or more.
How can i control it? How can I insert a txt file as an argument to the qv-user-manager.exe so I'll be able to choose which user to remove?
Thanks & Best regards,
Shay
anyone? something?
Please..
Hello Shay,
Have you had any success at removing specific Named CAL with the QV User Manager?
If you had, I would like to know the syntax you used.
Thanks!
Ariel
nope...
sorry, but it seems impossible for now to remove specific CAL user
