.qvw file not refreshing properly

Hi,

I added four large straight tables to a container in a qlikview document to improve the performance.

The document tab that has the container shows up properly when I logon to the server and open the document in Qlikview tool on the server, but it doesn't show up properly when the same document is accessed thru Access Point.

Any ideas as to how to resolve the issue.

Regards,

Sudhir Goel

Do you have any show conditions on the charts that might be true for the user you have logged in with on the server, but not true for the user you have logged in with via Access Point?

Are you able to attach a copy of the document that we could use to help troubleshoot?

Also, depending on what you are doing, containers may not help improve performance. As far as I know, all charts in the container are automatically calculated, even the ones that aren't currently displayed in the container. If you're trying to prevent them from being calculated when the sheet is opened then you are best off adding calculation conditions or minimizing the charts.

Performance will degrade if you show more records in table. So try to restrict the number of records by giving appropriate filters.

Use calculated conditional and conditional show features to impose restrictions.
