.qvw.log Files

Hello can you tell me what are the qvw,log files, how they are generated and how can i write in it if is it possible?

I've noticed they contains also the script tracing.

Hi,

Go to setting->Document properties->general->generate log file.

by log file you will get the all script in text file and you can find easily any error related script.

Use the trace commnd to write extra entries into the log file

Hi,

Using Setting---> Document Properties---> General tab ---> Generate Log file and reload the file. you will get the txt file based on your script log.

It simply goes into the same folder as the qvw.

So is not configurable?

Another thing, the text content written in the trace is exactly the line of code executed not the content variable explosed?
