HI

You can reduce the data in your application..

Select any one data in any field eg. Select 2007 in the year field, then go to file --> Reduce Data---> Keep Possible values.

Thus the application is limited to the selcected data alone.

Now reloading will be quick compared to the old one..

Hope it helps u

Hi,

there are many things which are related to the performance of the report.

1. is your qvw file is big in size as compare to the RAM you have in your system or server?

2. are you using too many conditions in your chart to calculate the expressions.?

3. do u have unneccessory field in your data model which are not at all required for the analysis.?

4. is there any data modelling issues like circular loop, synthetic keys etc...

5. are u using too many text objects in your application ..

take care while creating app or data model it is going to affect your app performance.

It may be issue of data model and complex expression used in chart . other than that I do not think any factor resoponsilbe if your dashboard refreshed in 4 minutes.
