referencing an object and expression name

I looked for the answer Qlik Community but couldn't find.

I have an object where I want to create an expression that references an expression from another object rather than rewrite the same expression. I know this can probably be accomplished with a variable but wanted to know if this referencing is even possible.

create the variable on UI.

Settings --> Variable Overview ( Ctrl+Alt+v ) --> Add

Define the variable name and it expression. Use the that variable in any object on any sheet
