regarding charts

Here i am having two charts

only one chart should not change on selections when i select the dimensions

is there any solution

Hi,

Use alternate states

which is available in document properrties---> alternate states

create a state der and place it in any chart which u dnt want to select

Hi i thought the same way but is there any answer rather then alternate stats

this is an interview question

Ya i said the same using attach and detach we can he says

You can also use Set Analysis to Sum the Sales disregarding the current selection:

=SUM({1}Sales)

  Returns the sales for region US disregarding/overriding the current selection in field "Region".

sum({1<Region = {'Eastern'}>} Sales)
