saving selections for all sheeats

Hi

I have dashboard having 4 sheets

in four sheets i have list box named '' country''

when i apply filter on country in sheet1 ( Ex: india selected) and then i go to sheet2 automatically filters are getting cleared

i want to save those filters when i go to sheet 2 , sheet3, sheet4

i mean if i select india in listbox country in sheet1 then i go to sheet2 india shuld be selected automatically

Hi you want to save your selections separately with respect to your sheet, can you explain briefly

Hi Srikanth,

   As per Qlikview it wont release the selection unless until when you clear the selection. Also I guess there is some "Clear" event is performed when you navigate from sheet 1 to Sheet 2. So kindly check the navigation button properties.

How you are navigating to the sheet 2 from sheet 1?

If you are using the button button->right click->Properties->Actions. Check is there is any actions included in it

The reason they are getting cleared because, there might be a "Clear" action on those tabs. Please follow the below steps:

Say for example you have two tabs as Sheet1 and Sheet2.

1) Now click on Sheet2

2) Click on "Settings" from the menu and then select "Sheet Properties"

3) Select the tab "Triggers"

4) Click on "Add Actions(s)" under OnActivateSheet

5) Now you should see a action like "Select in Field"

6) Highlight this action and click on "Delete"

7) Click Ok twice.

Now you are all set. Go to Sheet1 and select from the list box and now when you go to Sheet2 you will still see that selection.
