Hi,

Downloaded 'no green' and says installed successfully. However, how do you actually utilise it within Qlikview?

Hi Chris,

Using Extensions will allow you to change the inbuilt specification of Qlik.

I would warn against fiddling with the default Qlik colours with an extension.

In my opinion the pro's would be negligible and the con's significant.

You may try different shades of green, white and gray using Color Scheme option in document properties.

Dear Chris,

Yes, you can change the default colors with the help of extension.

Kindly find attached QlikView Extension or download from Document Extension to override green selection color

Install and Use extension in your QlikView Document:

Step 1: Download attached extension "NoGreeen.qar" and double click on the downloaded file, this file will install at default location "C:\Users\engishfaque\AppData\Local\QlikTech\QlikView\Extensions\Document\NoGreen".

Step 2: Open your QlikView Document and go to > Tab "Settings" > Document Properties > Extensions > Add Extension from Installed

Extensions to Active Extensions > Apply > OK.

Step 3: Go to Tab "View" > Turn on/off WebView.

Now extension has been successfully installed and enabled in your document.

Please note, you can customize selection colors according to your requirements by editing in attaching extension file called "NoGreen.css". Please note, after changes in "NoGreen.css" file you have to reopen your document as the changes can be reflect on document.

So, Here are the steps:

Step 1: Go to extension installed location on your system "C:\Users\engishfaque\AppData\Local\QlikTech\QlikView\Extensions\Document\NoGreen"

Step 2: Open file "NoGreen.css" in Edit mode and change the Color.

A QlikView document is attached with this thread for better understanding.

Kind regards,

Ishfaque,thanks for your post!

That NoGreen extension only works with Qlik view.

Is there any similar NoGreen  extension that works in Qlik sense?
