How to i change a table or list to not minimizing upon selection

for table, maybe in layout tab, uncheck size to data

thanks for your response but that just means you can resize table with out the data inside moving.

Can you provide more details on what you mean? Also, did you checkout the "Allow Minimize" and "Auto Minimize" checkbox options in the "Caption" tab?
