send to excel option for specific users

hello,

i want to know if 'send to excel' option can be used for specific users only.

i want to allow only 5 users to use this option. for the rest of the users this option should not be available (hidden).

your help will be really appreciated.

here is one method u can do

create a clone of same object one with removing export to excel option........

and conditionaly hide the object using osuser() function
