set anlysis

Hi All,

I am using the formula SUM({<Month=>}Revenue) to not have the month filter any impact on my pivot table. I want to add Year to this. Any idea hoe to do this?

Thanks in advance!

You want to disregard any selections on Month and Year, right?

try

=SUM({<Month=, Year= >}Revenue)

Add any other field to clear or set comma separated.

Hope this helps,

Stefan

When you say you want to add year, is it that you want to add a specific year, or disregard the year as well?  The latter has already been posted, for a specific year it will be:

SUM({<Month=,Year{'2011'}>}Revenue)

Or perhaps more likely you will want to have a dynamic year in there:

SUM({<Month=,Year{'$(vMaxYear)'}>}Revenue)

Where vMaxYear is a variable, either with a date set from year(today()) in the load script or a =year(max(Date)) in the variable definition.

I have uploaded a couple of Set Analysis examples as shared QlikViews, you may want to take a look at:
