show message on clicking for drilldown

Hi,

When drilling down from one dimension into another one, there are few records that I want to lock for drill down and show a message to user that these records cannot be drilldown

Can someone please guide me how can I do this in Qlikview

Hi Arif,

You might be able to use a field event trigger to notice when a specific field selection has been made and then bring up some kind of message or alert. These triggers can be set in Settings -> Document Properties -> Triggers

I'm not sure if you will be able to prevent further drill down, but if there are no lower dimensions the drilldown should stop at the last level anyway.
