Hello All -
I can't figure this out... If I put these both into a text object:
=Date(Only({1<Cal.RelativeWeek = {'-18'}>} Cal.WeekStartMon),'MMM-D')
=$(=Date(Only({1<Cal.RelativeWeek = {'-18'}>} Cal.WeekStartMon),'MMM-D'))
The first one resolves to May-18 like I'd expect. but when I put it inside the $ sign, it doesn't work.
What the heck am I doing wrong?
Thanks in advance,
Mike
hi
why do you need the $ sign expression , why not use the first expression
in your case what happens is that
qlikview find the date and it's 18/5/2015
but then because of the $ sign its evaluates the expression as a formula
so the result is 18/5/2015 =
0.001787 |
and then the date function can't work
I'm using it in a variable for a ValueList()
look at my edited response
you should create a variable with the first expression , and then use it in the next variable
That's what I've ended up with. I was hoping to avoid all of the extra variables.
Thanks,
