sorting in a pivottable

Hi,

Having problem with sorting in a pivottable, i am choosing sort by load order (origin) but it still having the column sorted in ascending numeriv valuebildqv.jpeg see picture below. the data is not loaded in this way, any suggestions?

hi,

    do u sort the data expression based means set the Y Value as 'Ascending Order' in Sorting tab.

                         (OR)

    You sort the value dimension based means  Numeric value as 'Ascending Order'.

unfortenaly i am not able to share the aplication, the data is not loaded in numeric order so i wonder why i cant sort it the way it is loaded from the excel file? in the example picture above it should be ordered 31, 21, 29 i.e. the way it is loaded.

thanks for your reply, my table is a pivottable and the data i want to sum is loaded data, is this working in a similar way

Hi,

     Just change the Chart Type as Pivot table in General tab.
