sorting with the required year

hi

i am new to qlikview and i got a problem while working on the charts

my chart in the x-axis showing the format mmm-yy and it is starting from feb-10 and i want to see the start date as feb-12

can any one please help me on this issue !

instead of formatting your date dimension use MonthName(your_date_column) this could help

or give a sample document to check your data and I can look into it cause when you format your date field the result will be a string and sorting on string values will be not logical

if it is max date  use max(ur date field)

according to your requirement you can add the expression in the sort tab and try with the same....if your not able to achieve the same please share the same data format and the required output format
