spacing around line chart

Hi all,

I've created some line charts.

These line charts have 1 x-axis and 2 y-axis.

These graphs look all great in Qlikview, but now comes the problem.

When I click on "Print as pdf" it prints the chart to pdf, but all values (dimension label for example), the legend etc. are really close to the lines of the line-chart itself.

I tried to make some more spacing between the graph, and the values around it, but I don't get it to work.

How should this be done? Crtl + shift and moving the chart doesn't help. When I print to pdf, the chart is made to fit the whole page.

So how can I set spacing between the, for example, x-axis and the values below it (weeknumbers, which represent the x-axis), and same for the y-axis and Legend.

I'm using Qlikview 10 SR1.

Is this a bug and should I update to Qlikview 11?

It's a bit annoying since the pdf-files are for a business-company and they should look better.

Thanks in advance

It sounds like a bug... Can you try upgrading to the latest SR of QlikVIew 10?

Thanks, indeed it works better now.

Now only the continuous x-axis doesn't work properly.

I set the scale to static min: 1 and static max: 52 and static step: 1 but it shows only 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 etc. instead of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 etc.

Any idea how to solve this? Or should I upgrade / install QV v11?

When you specify "Continuous" axis, the chart engine will automatically pick every second (third, fourth, etc...) dimension value, based on the amount of available space. If you definitely want to enforce each value to be displayed, either remove "continuous" or expand the chart horizontally. Reducing the font size might help, too...
