sum based on another fields

Hi QV,

I have a table like attached one.....I want to sum the each field based on FACILITY_ID and Metrics.

Like

Sum(PRIOR_FW_VAL) based on FACILITY_ID and Metrics,

Sum(PRIOR_MONTH_VAL) based on FACILITY_ID and Metrics,

Sum(PRIOR_QTR_VAL) based on FACILITY_ID and Metrics,

I have tried with aggr but unable to successed.

any help would appreciate.

Try using a pivot table and enabling partial sums on the Presentation tab for the two dimensions. If that doesn't do what you want, please explain in more detail what you do want and post an example qvw document with data.

I don't understand what you want. If you want to sum values to get totals per facility-metrics combination then simply add those two dimensions to your straight table.
