sum is doubling? using straight table- only one table accessed

I have a chart but the total on the chart didnt match the total in my straight table which had no totaling.

just figured i had a dimension wrong-  so I added my sum column to my straight table- see attached.

the two expressions are inv amt-  which is just the invoiced amt  no totaling just a copy of the existing field

the tot inv is the sum using a set analysis... which is shown.

If all the rows were doubling I could maybe understand more-  but one is right and the other double.

what am i confusing now?

Could like you have duplicate records? QlikView would display duplicate records just once in the straight table.

it was a join-  now to fix it-  hmmm  thanks for direction.
