I am using svgMag extension in qlikview and want to highlight specific country area which is metioned in excel.
I have added object it's not taking dimension and measures in extension object.Can anybody help me with this.I am using attached excel file please let me if i am doing anything wrong.
You give very little information on what you did when you added the object. The SVG map that you can use must have ID attributes for each selectable object. And you will have to know exactly which values this ID can take. Then you will have to tell the SVG map extension object which field that corresponds to the ID that is present in the SVG-map file.
It seems very likely that you haven't specified or connected this information correctly. Which country map are you using - one of the ones bundled with SVGmap ?
Thanks for your reply,I am using world map and if you see attached excel i have mentioned field Region ID,Country,Lattitude and longitude and one metric that is sales.
Can you please tell how will be my data structure.
A screen shot of the properties dialog box for the Extension Object will give us an idea what might be missing to make your solution work. Could you please upload some screen shots? Or even just a sample application if possible?
You will have to select which field in your QlikView data model that correspond with values that the SVG file has for all its ID's by making a selection in the Region ID drop-down.
