symbol in a bar chart

hi,

i have a bar chart that one of the expression is a symbol

i what that it will show a line in the Width of the bar and not one of the symbols in the list.

can i do that??

Hi Adi,

I think there is an easy way to do this.

Install your bar chart with a combo chart. Your first expression is what generates your bar chart.

Enter your second expression for your vertical line and mark the 'Box Plot' check box in the 'Expressions' window. Click on the plus sign infront of this expression and make sure your expression is copied into the Box Plot Top, Middle and Bottom.

In this case the Box Plot will degenerate into a vertical line (leave the upper and lower whiskers empty). You can play with this box plot and add a constant (eg. 10) to the Box Plot Top and subtract the same constant value from the Box Plot Bottom to get a bold line...
