totals in the pivot table

Hi friends,

i am one doubt  in pivot table

how to calculate the subtotals in the pivot table with out the ticking the partial subtotals ?

Is it possible to calculate  the total,subtotal in the expression wise?

Can any one know these ,kindly please share you thoughts.

Hi,

In Presentation tab click the sub totals on top and sub totals on bottom .

I don't think so,it possible without checking those check boxes and radio buttons.

No, you need to tick the partial subtotals. If you write your expression correctly - using aggregation functions - the numbers will be calculated automatically.

Because i want to calculate the expression as the subtotal.

Normally you don't need a second expression as subtotal, but if you want it, you can use

  If(Dimensionality()=1, <Expression1>, <Expression2> )

yes u need to use aggr your exp like below

Sum(aggr(sum(value),Dimension))
