uploading excel data to qv desktop

i have around 45 excels and data upto 280 mb which i need to upload in qv desktop,but during excution its taking lot of time and thn it hangs and stop working ,what can be done,kindly guide??

1) try to understand which xlsx is critical

2) try to split this (or these) xlsx in more files (by months, by date, by customers ....)

Load your excel in the parts

1. Divede it in the dimensions like Year, Month, Region, SalesRep, Country.

2. Load your excel with minimum rows or less data to check the data model.

3. After data get loaded check the primary keys and foreign key combinations among the tables.
