want to reduce date data labels on X-axis

I have scenario

I have date fields for 10 years.I am showing month wise in X-Axis

I want to reduce those data labels like display for every 5 years  one label in  X-axis  below

Please find the attached Qvw for sample data

I think it would be easier if the x-axis is in number format.

If it is in number format, we can modify axis in axis tab. To change Dimension axis as continuous and define Static Step.

Maybe to use calculated condition =date#(Year,'YYYY/MMM'), which is to change field Year to number format.

If the axis becomes number in the chart, may change the number format in tab, Number.

To shown grid of X axis every 5 years, may change the dimension axis to continuous and define the static step as =MakeDate(2010,11,1)-MakeDate(2005,11,1)

I have done the same in my application but it is showing 2011/jan,2011/jul   2012/jan,2012/july  like that

i want 2011/Nov

          2012/Nov

          2013/Nov

like that.Can you please implement i attached file i.e Adding less lables.qvw and shart it

Hi, do you wanna modify static step and try? I used 364.8 and then it shows Nov..
