I wonder if there is any way to create a mat information in QlikView as pictured.

check the bottom of the Map, it may take a couple of seconds to start moving

Either use set analysis or modify your data model.

If you want to line a MAT, YTD over the time appearing in the chart, the simplest way would be (according to me) to modify the data model with "asof" tables. I wrote a document a few weeks ago: http://community.qlik.com/docs/DOC-4821
