what if ?

Hi experts,

i have a chart like dimension is product and expression is sum(amount)

made stright table

later i created a variable called vprofit=o  and i created a slider with variable  vprofit

min range is  1 and max is 50 static step is 10.

i have added one more expression in chart is  sum(amount)*vprofit   label name is what if.

based on adjusting slider the rate get change it means sum(amount)*vprofit.

i understood about what if is that's it?

when i go for some othe dashboards they made their what if in very complex?  so that  i got confuse about what if

is there any other way to do what if ?  please explain me ?

The understanding of the What if logic is correct. It just that you can add more complexity to anything you want based on situations.

One such situation:

Say you can use 3 sliders and the numbers should get changed on calculation of all three or even one.

Depending upon requirement and existing data model, things appear to to complex.

Hope this was helpful.

Thanks.

What you understood about what if is correct.

Based on specific requirements it may look complex.
