what is QlikView versions SR?

Hi,

I am new to QlikView AND Community, just I have read about the qlikview version history and have seen versions QlikView 9.0 SR1, QlikView 9.0 SR3, QlikView 9.0 SR7 now GA, and QlikView 10 SR5.  what is this service release means? what is difference between example SR1 and SR2 in same version? and I observed that there is no qlikview server between version 8-9.0.  could you please let me know when was the QlikView server out in the market?

SR stand for Service Release. A Service Release contains bug fixes and sometimes new features. Qlikview Server did not start at version 8. See this blog post:
