where clause criterion syntax

I was a bit surprised when I tried -

load * from wherever.qvd where fieldname in (valuelist);

and got the "garbage after statement" error.  When I took out the "in" and replaced it with an equals sign it was happy.  Can I not use "in" in a load statement where clause?  Or did I get the syntax wrong?

Does anybody have the criterion syntax or a better way around this than lots of "or" statements?

Cheers,

Colin

Hi

You can use

load * from wherever.qvd where match(fieldname,value1,value2,...);
