which is the best SR?

Hi All,

We are currently using Qlikview 11.20.11922.0 SR2.

We are planning for an upgrade.

can someone please suggest which is the Best release for us to upgrade to?

is SR8 Better compared to other releases?

Please suggest your thoughts based on your experience with it.

'Best release' ranked by which requirements? Not sure if there is a single answer to that.

In general, I would go for the most recent SR, I think it's SR12, not SR8.

Some clients wait for some days / weeks before upgrading to allow the 'early adopters' find new bugs.

Go through the release notes to check if there is any new limitation / known issues in that release that might hit your application.

You can also test the new SR in a sandbox to validate it's working as required.

I'd recommend that you go for the latest , i.e SR12, you can always download the release notes first

PS SR's basically contain fixes to previously identified issue and bugs!

Hi,

Recently some colleagues found that in SR 11 the Y-Value sort option for charts is gone. Is kind of annoying because now you need to sort by expression if you want to use this functionality. I'm not sure if this issue is "fixed" in SR 12 or if it's going to be considered for future releases. If you have many objects using this Y-value sort option I won't recommend you to update to SR11,
