why does the appearance tab for charts / graphs vanish intermittently from properties panel in qliview?

Hi All,

I am new to Qlikview and going through beginner courses.

I was creating a combochart and found out that the Appearance tab under Properties panel to be visible sometimes and then disappear - I am sure I am missing something here - can someone please throw some light?
