x, y axes value set in scatter chart

Hello Expert,

I am quite new to QlikView. Today I tried to create one scatter chart with x, y axes contains customer and year. The purpose is to measure sales volume under certain customer in specific year. However, either information as "you have attempted to apply a numerical expression, which is not uniquely defined..." or x axes has quite not clear number range, say for salesman(0.0~1.3) and all bubbles are in x = 0.

Question is about if scatter chart support CHAR value in x/y axes?

Thanks!

HTC

No, a scatter chart need numeric fields (or expressions) for both x and y axis to be able to calculate an x,y coordinate for a data point.
