2 dimensions on x axis and export to excl issue

Hi,

I have 2 dimensions on x axis of bar chart. In order to show both the axes on  x axis, I have to add 3rd dummy dimension... In this case I added  =''   as a dumy dimension.

Now when I am exporting bar chart to excel this dummy dimension appear on excl in one of column as blank.

How to remove this dimension while exporting it to excel???

Hi,

It is not possible with the existing functionality, you have write a macro to remove the column and export to excel.  But macros won't work in Ajax mode.

Instead create another chart without this dimension and export this.

Hello All ,

Please find the attached document. I have tried my level best to get 2 dimensions on the X axis by using 2 methods :

1) 2 Dimensions + 1 Dummy Dimension

2)2 Dimensions with 1  Dummy expression

I am successful to get the 2 Dimensions on X axis now.. but when I am exporting the data I am getting additional column either by Dummy Dimension OR Dummy expression

Please let me know how I can get rid off that extra column. in Solution 1 (2 Dimensions + 1 Dummy Dimension), I am able to get the rid off the data in the dummy column with all spaces but still that Extra blank column is visible. And I dont know how to shift it atleast to extreme right.

Please PFA and let me know.

Especially,  swuehl‌ and sunindia‌  - Any clue?
