I think possible reasons could be a different resolution of the monitors (and also the global windows settings for zoom, antialiasing, cleartype and similar) or a missing font by some users so that they are replaced with a similar one.
Further I would remove (after a backup) the settings.ini from the user to exclude that any custom settings have an impact.
