Hi Guys,
I was trying to open document-2 from document-1 and to do so I used Open URL action. document-1 & document-2 both are published and available on server (Section Access).
I want to pass all the selection made to document-1 to document-2. I have total 5 list boxes LB01 to LB05.
If I select 2 values in LB01, 10 values in LB02 and 3 values in LB03, LB04, LB05 in document-1, same selection should appear to document-2.
How to achieve this?
Hi,
Use 'Open QlikView Document' as your button action and check the option for Transfer State.
Greeshma K,
I need to specify the path of document-2 right?
That path is not accessible from outside of box (Server) that's why I thought of using Open URL.
Here is another thread I posted for Open QlikView Document http://community.qlik.com/message/743227#743227
If possible please provide step by step procedure to resolve this.
Yes you need to specify the path. Also, you will find a check box for Transfer State when you use the Open QlikView Document as button action.
You can go through this discussion for passing parameters using Open URL. Hope this helps.
Seems it should be possible add button with action as execute macro and then use a macro to get the URL
