Alternate State Questions: (Inheriting values from selection box)

I have two different straight tables displaying Year, Sales, Pounds Shipped that is changed via selections by a Branch, District Number, or a Specific Customer.  The one straight stable shows current year's sales, but management and sales teams have asked for just a summary of sales for the year prior.

The catch is that I want to lock the year field to only show 2015 data for the rest of the content on the page besides this one straight table. Is there a better way to show sales and pounds shipped for prior years then perhaps using an alternate state with "inherit" properties.

Any help would be awesome!

I haven't dove into yet. Is there a link that would work for a reference?
