Hi ,
I have table as below
Date PName Producttype MarketType discount
2010/01 A PC Corporate 10%
2010/02 B Server Individual 15%
2010/03 B Server Corporate 15%
2010/04 B Server both 15%
Where both indicates the discount is for the Individual and corporate. I have a fact table with sales amount and i need to use this discount to calculate the profit.I understand in Qlikview we can split in to two tables and concatenate to Split the Both in to Corporate and Individual.
Is there any other way we can do it in QlikView. or Best practice as the Hisorical cdata will be keep incereasing.
