Always one value selected option

Hi All,

Is there any qlikview version specific for the option "Always one value selection"?. Because i am unable to see this option enabled even after i select a value and go back to properties. This option is always disabled for all listboxes and Multi boxes as well.

Please suggest me on this, if any document related properties and QVW version specific.

I am using QV 12.

Hi,

From where you are getting the field you used to create list box.

If the field was from inline table, always one selected value may not work out.

I have faced same issue in v12.

I have implemented my application in v11 and started using same thing in v12 .

here I faced same issue when I go for clear my always one selected is also getting cleared.

I have used in this case for temporary purpose "set clear state "

other than this if u find something pls let me know that.

Setting --> Document Properties --> Trigger --> Document Event Triggers --> on Open --> Add Actions --> Add --> Select in Field --> Select your field and the value for the field. Save the document, exit doc, reopen and now your field should automatically be selected.

if you are using any expression in  the list box, always one value selected it will not work for expression and calculated condition. It will work on core dimensions that specified at script level.

It is not inline field and i did not use any expression as well.

Maybe you use more than one alternate state?

If yes, then you should select one value in specified field in each state (also in default state) and then "Only one value selected" option shoul get available.
