Another form to send emails in Qlikview

Hello,

I need to send some e-mails in Qlikview, but I don't have the products: Qlikview Publisher and Qlikview Pdf Report distribution.

I know that exists another form to send e-mails using macros, but I don't want to use macros. Is there another form to send e-mails with objects analysis ??? (without using macro and the products Qlikview Publisher and Qlikview Pdf Report distribution) ???

Thank you

Kind Regards

Without publisher or a third party tool - I think it remained only macros and will it be used on an administratively level it's not a bad solution.

Hi Roland

You can send Mails to various users using Qlikview Mail functionality.

You just have to made some configurations.

But, this functionality has one constraint that you can only send Text material to users.

Not able to send the Charts, objects and other stuff.

1) Open User Preferences ( Control+Alt+U ) >> There you'll see Mail Tab>> Select that>> Do all the configurations.

See the Snapshot:

2) Alerts ( Control + Alt + A ) : >> In the Message Box you can write the Text Expression which you've to be send>> In Mail recipients add users id.

First add your id for Testing purpose. See the Snapshot:

You can also refer Help . Type Alerts in Qlikview Help and see details for it. see the Snapshot:

Hope that helps.

Thanks Ashfaq,

I've heard of NPrinting.

I'll test. To use QVMailer is required to have a SQLServer database?

Thank you!

Kind Regards
