Average of the count....

Hi All,

I cant seem to make anything work.  What I am looking for is a monthly average of a complaint count  I have attached the file, but the latest attempt was to create a variable

Avg(Aggr(ComplaintNumber, MonthYear))

Any suggestions, Im really stuck

Have not looked at the qvw yet, but may be you are missing a count?

Avg(Aggr(Count(ComplaintNumber), MonthYear))

HI,

thats what I thought too, but even with count - it doesnt work,

in Fact, it shows an error on the comma in the formula between ComplaintNumber and MonthYear.

So maybe

=Count(ComplaintNumber) / Count(DISTINCT MonthYear)
