Hello,
I think there's a bug in my QlikView report, because the first day of February (or March) is not appearing in chart. Strangely, the first day of April appears.
Do you know where the problem may can come from ? The first day of February and March values exists in the database !
My QlikView version is : 11.20 SR6
Thanks
I have finally found the problem.
The first day of February and March exist in the expression table (the table where you use aggregated functions like sum) but not in the dimension table of dates where you realize your join !
It means that :
* The dimension table of dates was not well conceived (an inner join was used instead of an outer join somewhere).
* It's not a QlikView bug.
Thanks for you help.
I know you said that Feb 01 does exist, but does it has any data associated with the expression ?
could you share the file ?
Add the static min and max to your chart. If you put -.05 or 1/31/20155 for the min and play around with the max it should show the results you'd like.
Hi Ramon,
I know that Feb 01 exist, here the proof when I use a QV straight table :
I'm sorry I can't send the original QV file (it can be considered like a confidential document by my company).
The problem is with the min of your chart. This is a known issue with Qlikview. If you expand the range of your chart it will display all the values, but since 2/1/2015 is closest to the range that value will be hidden from sight until you increase the min.
I don't know how to increase the range.
I went to "Presentation" and I have enabled "Chart Scrollbar" to see in details all the days.
=> When I use a filter on the year or month, the first day of February or March desappear, otherwise if none of the date filter are enabled I can see the first day of February and March !
Why ?
Thanks for your help.
On the Axes tab of your chart you'll see Scale.
From Scale you change the static min of your chart to 1/31/2015 or 1/30/2015 or something of the sort to get 2/1/2015 to display first.
I cannot see any differences... I don't even know what it does because nothing changes when a put a static date value in "min".
Did you enter the date in the same format as your date?
