Button to open PDF file - QLIK VIEW

is it possible to insert a button that open an external file as a PDF file?

No such inbuilt feature is there in qlik sense. However, you might achieve similar using extension, check here:Trigger Qlik sense

I'm doing tests. can I use a variable in the path  based on  the field selected?

I never tried. But you can probably try using other fields in the action like: Filename/parameters/working dir... Do some r&d...I guess that should be possible.

Hi Stefania,

try this in the Application:

='C:\\'&$(vs_test)&'test.xlsx'

Remeber the equals before the path and concatenate strings and variable.
