Can we automate Data Base connections in QlikView Model?

Hello,

I have QlikView Model, which is connected to  Oracle Data Base.

I got now second Data Base, and request to connect automatically only to one of the Data Bases according to the connection success. Means, that if one connection to Oracle fails, there will be trial for another connection.

How I can implement that in QlikView?

Havent tried this myself but you should be able to set erromode to 0 (ignore failure) and then use ScriptError variable to identify the error and connect to alternative DB
