Condition syntax

Hi,

Please tell me what's wrong with the below syntax:

= '=TEST_CASE_STATUS=' & chr(39) & 'Complete-Passed' & chr(39) & 'AND TEST_EXPIRATION_DT1=' & TIMESTAMP(TODAY())

It's not working.

Thanks,

Sudha.

add in a textbox and see what it happens

maybe you need comma before and after the timestamp

I have to do this in button and it's not working.  Comma before and after timestamp doesn't help.

Check if fieled being checked is having multiple values, else share sample data and output for better understanding.

Hi,

Here is the screen shot.  As you can see Test-533 and Test-534 has today's expiration date and have the Status as 'Testing Evidence' but the button condition Capture.JPGdoes not work.

Thanks,

Sudha.

Please check if the format of your date time field matches to the expression timestamp(Today())

How to make sure they both are in the same format?  When I directly give the date field and mention timestamp(today()) in search string, it is working fine.  However when I give TEST_CASE_ID and put the whole expression in search string as shown below, it is breaking.  But, I have one more condition to add, so I need this one to work.

Please help.

Hi, sudha viswanathan.

Try to test separately the button and see what the outcome. Ex.: First button 1; second button 2.

Button2.JPG

I hope this helps!

Hi,

Both are working fine individually.  But when added together in a single search string, it does not work.  Especially the timestamp condition is not working as I had shown in the screen shot.

Thanks,

Sudha.
